Dr. Hu specializes in the diagnosis and operative treatment of complex fundus diseases such as retinal detachment and diabetic retinopathy etc. and the prevention and treatment of high myopia retinopathy. He got his bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University and master’s degree in ophthalmology from West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University. He has been working as a PhD. at MORAN Eye Center of the University of Utah in America for many years, majoring in fundus vitreoretinal surgery, molecular genetics, artificial vision and fundus macular degeneration. Dr. Hu has been engaged in clinical and scientific research of vitreoretinal disease and complex ophthalmic diseases for nearly 30 years. He has chaired and participated in a number of scientific research projects and won the science and technology progress award. He has published more than 30 papers in core journals at home and abroad.
