Dr. Tang has been engaged in clinical work in the ophthalmology department of a grade 3 level A general hospital in Sichuan province for more than 10 years. He was one of the first ophthalmologists who jointly trained by DeanMcGee Eye Center, USA and Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital. He studied with Professor Hai LU, a famous pediatric fundus specialist at Beijing Tongren Hospital, CMU. He is mainly engaged in the diagnosis and  treatment of fundus disease, carrying out vitreoretinal surgery, screening of ROP (retinopathy of prematurity), pediatric fundus disease, fundus oculi in internal medicine, and neuro-ophthalmology. He specializes in the diagnosis, laser therapy and surgical treatment of complex retinal detachment, ocular trauma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other difficult diseases of the fundus.
