Dr. Li graduated from Gunma University School of Medicine with a PhD in Surgery (National University of Japan) and has been engaged in ophthalmology for more than 30 years. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various complex and rare fundus diseases, macular diseases, intractable uveal diseases and optic nerve diseases, especially in the clinical diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, AZOOR syndrome, ocular trauma, congenital or hereditary retinopathy and retinopathy of prematurity. She has published more than 50 academic papers, nearly 20 SCI papers and 6 books. Dr. Li's recent academic paper "Optical coherence tomography patterns and outcomes of contusion maculopathy caused by impact of sporting equipment" was published in an international SCI journal.
